You’ve been to Union Handmade, enjoy the diversity and aesthetic of pieces found here, and appreciate the small-batch high-quality handmade vibe. You’re a maker, too, and think you and your work would be an excellent fit? Here’s what you need to know and do to be considered our next member-maker.

We are not a traditionally-structured shop hiring staff, buying wholesale, and marking up prices. We are a community of primarily local makers who all contribute to the running of Union Handmade. Member-makers are required to work 3-4 shifts per month, pay a small share of the rent (this varies), and manage their own inventory. In return member-makers keep 90% of their sales income. Do you have other skills such as a photography, marketing, business strategy, social media management or other relevant experience? Fantastic! Member-makers contribute in all kinds of ways in order to make Union Handmade even more special.
