Freesia Fibers is a knitwear design and production company centered by the love of natural fibers and building a lasting, timeless wardrobe. All pieces are designed and handknit by Megan Lynch, a recent graduate from Loyola University Chicago and an avid knitter since age 10.
The name stems from the Victorian language of flowers, in which the freesia flower signifies lasting friendship. Many pieces are directly inspired by special friendships and relationships with people, nature, and everyday beauty - making "Freesia Fibers" the perfect name to capture the creative spirit and tactile nature of Megan's work.
Each piece is lovingly crafted using soft natural fibers such as wool, aplaca, cotton, linen, silk, and mohair. You can find a selection of garments and accessories in the shop. She also sells knitting patterns through her website and loves doing custom orders.
